MANUAL

Don't sign up for an expensive monthly service when all you need is a FRED 911, the Fast Response Emergency Dialer!

Americans pay millions each year for monitored response services.

Before you invest in any emergency response system, get all the facts. Costs for monitored emergency response service may vary by location. Expect to pay $20 to $50 or more, every month for monitoring fees. Startup and installation fees may also apply.

The service may be in the form of a long-term contract of 12 to 60 months. Contract or not, 60 months at $50 per month is an investment of $3,000. When time is up, you must renew and continue to pay, or lose the service.

Fact is - Now you can get fast emergency response without monthly fees. The FRED 911 one-touch pendant activates the base which dials directly to 911. The intercom in the base unit lets you talk to the 911 emergency dispatcher up to 60 feet away.

Compare the cost of FRED 911 with any monitored system:

With monitored systems the total cost goes up every month. For as long as you keep it, you will never stop paying for it. With FRED 911, there is NO monthly bill. Buy it and you own it … for life.

How FRED 911  gets you help fast!

Let's say you activated a typical "monitored" alert system.
Here is an example of what happens…

  • Most systems dial long distance to alert their monitoring center. These systems must dial 10 or 11 digits.
  • With monitored systems, what happens next may depend on your situation and what response protocol (if any) you select when you sign-up.
  • FRED 911 dials your local 911 emergency dispatcher.

  • With FRED 911, help is on the way regardless of your situation.
Remember, monitored services can NOT access your local 911 emergency lines unless you're both in the same 911 service area. Most monitored services have only one monitoring center for ALL 50 states. Is their monitoring center inside your 911 area?  Highly unlikely!

In most cases, they call long distance to your local 911 center for help.

WHEN THIS HAPPENS:

  1. The call will not be on a local 911 emergency line.
  2. 911 will not get an instant display of your address.
  3. 911 cannot record your call if it goes to a monitoring service.
  4. A monitored service must explain the situation to your local 911 operator before any help can be dispatched.
