Our
New Instant Ice
Packs that are urea based are manufactured in the USA by Medlogix, a well-known leader in the instant ice industry.
Compare them to your current brand. You might be surprised, the only
difference may be the name and the
$$price$$ (and whether or not it has ammonium nitrate). Medlogix manufactures private labeled
urea based instant
ice for many first aid and medical companies. Since we buy directly from
the manufacturer, you save more money.
 Your instant ice should not
contain ammonium nitrate. Not only is our instant ice safer, but it is
better for the
environment too. This ice is
more
safely shipped
overseas to APOs and
FPO's as
well. Some companies
charge more for this type of
instant ice-we don't. It is
more important for us to help get everyone to switch to this type of instant
ice to make the world a safer place.
Ammonium nitrate based
instant ice can be used by people to make
methamphetamines
or
explosives, unlike urea based instant ice. Which is not used for either. We talked to some of
our bigger customers to find out what they thought and they were in total
agreement to switching to the urea based instant ice formula to avoid problems.
Our
New Urea Based Ready-to-Use (never needs refrigeration) Instant Ice is easily activated for emergency use where cold
therapy is required. Reaches 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) within
seconds after you squeeze the inner bag and release the water into the
crystals in the outer bag. The cold lasts from about 15-40 minutes, depending
upon the temperature of the area it is placed and the temperature outside as
well.
